As this wild and crazy 2023 comes to an end
I suppose the theme was how much can she bend
If I went down the long list of all I had to take
You will surely ask how did I not break
It’s because of the Lord’s keeping power
It’s because I prayed and trusted every hour
The devil wanted to steadily steal my joy
And played with my heart like a toy
But I’m thankful for mercy and grace
And I stood tall after all that took place
So if you keep pressing towards the mark
God will never leave you in the dark
I rejoice in His goodness all the more
Because I know He is already in my 2024
