I was on my morning walk and was just thinking about the goodness of God. I was also reminded of a testimony someone had sent me yesterday and how I should be praying for God to show me what He is trying to teach me during my unemployed season. I was going back over the year and trying to see about my wins and losses, and got happy on this one thing. I have not taken any losses this year! My layoff wasn’t a loss, it was a BLESSING. I’ll shed more light on that once I get a new job, but it was God telling me to get some rest before my next assignment. But to know that God’s keeping power has brought me from February to June without wanting for anything is mind blowing. He has stretched my little and made it last (with the help of family and friends). He has opened my spiritual eyes and ears. We always worry and assume the worst when losing a job, BUT OH TO BE KEPT. That’s the testimony before the testimony.
